Report on survey ANA EQA schemes carried out in November 2024

The EQALM Auto-immunity WG conducted two surveys to address variability and lack of standardization in autoimmunity testing: 1. First survey: Revealed inconsistencies in methodologies and ANA ICAP nomenclature usage among laboratories. 2. Second survey: Gathered data on current EQA program designs from EQALM members. The goal is to develop guidelines which could be used by EQA providers to harmonize autoimmunity EQA programs, ultimately improving standardization within the field of autoimmunity.
